Happy new Year! All of the really good pictures from December 2007 are up now (possibly some of the others too - anyway, 234 in total!). They include the Tutors' Concert and all the Jazz Club sessions. Enjoy.

Now, although it's true to say I'm generally less inspired to take pictures in the cosy surroundings of the Small Parlour in the Old House at Beechwood than in the Big Church in the New Extension, I suppose that if pushed I'd have to admit that I did get some decent shots last month...

It's also true to say that I have been pushed - pestered even! - by a few JAers to put up some of the said pictures on a Website so you can all see them. It's nice to be wanted. I appreciate it, thank you.

It's also been suggested that it could be worth my while to sort out some pics as I might sell some prints! Okay then, let's see... I've scribbled some PayPal code to set up a shopping basket which'll allow you to buy - yes, buy! - pictures directly from this site. Wow. You don't even need a PayPal account!

I've priced each print at £5, inclusive of shipping, which is fair I think, not to say reasonable. But, as I do when I plaster many pictures up as an exhibition on the walls at Beechwood each summer, I'll also say that you can have three (different if you like) prints for a discounted price, £12. Options to add (a) one print at £5, and (b) three prints at £12, to your PayPal basket are given below.

How it works is like this - each pic (see link below) has an identifying number. Please choose the pictures you want, make a note of their numbers, and count them up (the pictures not the numbers!). Then add that number of pictures to your PayPal basket. For example, say you'd like seven pictures. That's two units of three prints, and one unit of one print. Easy! Select those options into your cart, and click to check out at the PayPal site. At that stage you'll have the opportunity to add a note for me ('Add special instructions...' or suchlike). Include the numbers of the pictures in that note - check that they're right - and then complete the transaction remembering to let PayPal send me your address.

The prints will be in the standard 'JA' format of about 10" by 6 1/2" on A4 paper. As regular JAers know, I really like matt paper as I think it gives the best impression for my pictures. However, as in this case I'll be printing pictures especially for you (using an archival-grade inkjet printer), I'm quite happy to print on semi-gloss (which would be my second choice) or even full-gloss (if you like) papers, at no extra charge! Again, just let me know in the PayPal note (matt, semi or gloss).

Of course, I'll be doing spectacularly well to actually make money on the whole deal, but a little income will help offset my costs, as mostly I'm simply giving money away to the likes of Canon, Epson, Fuji and Kodak (fine firms, all, of course). So then, I thank you for you interest. Enjoy!
